This coffee comes from the Hambela Wamena district, located in the west Guji of Ethiopia. It has been produced by Esaias Beriso Arere on his estate farm that constitutes 32 hectares with approximately 2500 trees per hectare. The district is known for its red clay soil and high altitude of 2350 metres above sea level.
The coffee is organically grown and harvested and undergoes meticulous natural processing. Only the ripest cherries are handpicked during each harvest, which takes place between November and January, benefiting from the rainy seasons of April and October.
Each cup of Guji Guribea embodies the meticulous synergy between elevated terrain, soil integrity, and conscientious cultivation.
